Scrappy Cards

It is 2013 and time to clean out some of those scraps -- so I packed up my scraps, some ribbon, some embellishments, my Make It From Your Heart how-to (love Close To My Heart how-tos) and headed to our Wednesday crop.

I brought along my card base box -- I know you are asking yourself 'What is a cardbase box?'

Well, when I have a piece of leftover cardstock that is large enough to create a cardbase, I cut it and put it in this box.

The idea was to go to the box and pick out the bases I need and create a card. Good idea, not so good execution. And it seems I got carried away with the 3" x 3" cardbases.

I brought this along as it is time these were used too.

After several hours, I found I had used some scraps and made me some cards.

Most of the products you are about to see are retired -- don't hate me. They had to be used.

I also found that some of the cardbases were actually kits from previous card classes - that made making a card pretty easy.

Here are the cards completed this week. I plan on packing those pesky scraps up and taking them to next weeks Wednesday crop.
