For Christmas, Mom and I purchased the puppies a couple of new little throw blankets. The little throws were wrapped with a big ribbon. I love to recycle, so I kept the ribbon.
My little creation uses this ribbon as the grass along the bottom of the card. Using a 3"x 3" card base, I stamped the sentiment, masked it and stamped the flower stems. I removed the mask. Next, I took a piece of the ribbon and unraveled one end. This ribbon was added to the bottom of the card.
A few Buttercup flowers were added with a button center. A little piece of stash ribbon with a knot tied at one end.
Last, I added a paper butterfly, which goes nicely with butterfly sentiment (a little sneak peek at a new 2013 Summer/Spring stamp set).
I hope you enjoyed my little unique ribbon creation, I would love for you to leave me a comment. Now on to Joy's blog to see her ribbon idea.
