Fall is the theme this week over at Card A Day blog. The colors of Fall make for pretty cards and a little Artbooking Cricut cartridge layout fun started this card. The layout is atop a piece of Pro Player pattern paper (doesn't look to techie here, does it).
Adding more colors of Fall with a little Goldrush and Cocoa on a Kraft cardstock base. Using stash Cocoa ribbon and the stamp set Fall Harvest (C1504) second generation stamped (click here to see a tutorial on second generation stamping) on the sentiment in Barn Red, Olive, and Autumn Terracotta finished off with a little Cocoa sentiment - Fall is Fabulous!
While on a roll, why not finish a project for a card swap -- a little impromptu class on how to use daubers to create a scene left me with this little Fall scene. The stamp set is one I borrowed so I don't know the name --
A scrap piece of New England Ivy, stash cocoa ribbed velvet ribbon with a metal brad (I cut off the brad tabs and used a glue dot to adhere). I used the Fabulous Fall sentiment from the Fall Harvest stamp set stamped in Chocolate -- now to get this in the mail.
Thank you for stopping by -- join us at Card A Day and play along with the Fall Theme or any of the September themes.
